1WAVE is an improv outfit by Khanate & Blind Idiot God drummer Tim Wyskida and guitar player Dirk Dresselhaus (krautfuzz, faust, die ANGEL, Schneider TM etc.). The group’s initial release earlier this year focused on long-form development, building patiently from near-silence through shifting textures and gradual intensification toward overwhelming peaks of sound. On this new release titled Short Forms #1, the group retains the essence of 1WAVE while working within the limitations of a shorter duration and turning the concept on its head for the B-side. The album is immersive, physical and deeply rewarding.

1WAVE Short Forms #1 will be available for purchase on lathe cut vinyl between 28 August and 18 September. Any orders placed during this period will be cut and fulfilled. Afterward, the title will be deleted on vinyl. While lathe cut vinyl is beautiful, it is also expensive, time-consuming, and labor-intensive to produce. Each lathe cut record is made in real time, making every piece a unique work of art. Please note that orders are limited to one copy per person or household. Each lathe cut vinyl comes with a free digital download code.
